Our Program
We believe in building champions from the inside out - specializing in developing rope horses through quality horsemanship, we focus on developing the horse’s mind, not just its body, for lasting success. We help competitors gain clarity, confidence, and the skills to truly communicate with their horses, to create a wining partnership together in and out of the arena.
With years of experience starting colts, roping, and training futurity horses, focusing on quality, consistency, and a calm, confident mindset. Our approach combines the cowboy way of life with refined techniques to create well-rounded, successful and competitive horses and riders.
Our Facility
We provide a professional, safe, and comfortable environment to support every horse’s growth and development.
Our facility features 12 spacious stalls, turnout areas, and access to pasture, ensuring each horse receives personalized care based on their individual needs. With daily stall cleaning, fresh forage, and high-quality minerals, we prioritize the health and well-being of every horse in training.
Who is Jayde
Jayde Slade has been surrounded by horses since the day he was born, raised in a family where horses weren’t just a pastime, but a way of life. His father, a seasoned horseman, always had a knack for finding the diamond in the rough — the horses that others passed by — and it was these horses that shaped Jayde’s early understanding of equine behavior and training. By the time he was 9, Jayde had already started his first client horse, a pivotal moment that set the stage for a lifetime dedicated to horsemanship. After graduating high school early, he dove headfirst into the world of horse training, gaining invaluable experience and learning tough lessons along the way.
Jayde’s mission was further solidified during his two-year mission trip, where he strengthened his faith and his commitment to his craft. Today, he’s known for his work with rope horses, futurity horses, and colt starting, blending years of experience with a deep passion for helping both horses and riders achieve their full potential. At Jayde Slade Performance Horses, Jayde’s focus is on building champions — not just by training horses, but by creating true partnerships where communication, trust, and confidence take center stage.
