Developing Confident, Competitive, and Reliable Rope Horses

Success Starts in the Mind

We don’t just train horses—we build champions. Our training program is for those who want a confident, reliable rope horse that is as skilled as they are willing. Whether you own a young colt, want to develop or refine your rope horse's performance, or enjoy your horse around the ranch, our horsemanship-focused approach considers the horse’s mind and body for lasting success. Our approach goes beyond teaching a horse to perform—it’s about helping them understand and enjoy their job.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I visit and take lessons with my horse while he or she is in training?

Absolutely! You can schedule a visit to check on your horse as well as book lessons. However, if I determine that your horse is not ready for your skill level or that it wouldn’t be beneficial for either of you at their current stage of training, I’ll gladly show you what they know and what we are working on.

What do I need to do to my horse before I send them to you for training?

Your horse must have a full vet check to ensure they are sound. A health certificate, a negative Coggins test, and a full set of vaccinations are required. Since we travel frequently, we prioritize the health of all horses in our care. Additionally, to make sure they start off on the right foot (literally), we request their feet should be properly maintained to prevent any future issues.

How many days will my horse get worked?

This depends on the individual horse. I typically work horses between 4 to 6 days per week, based on their needs, progress, and physical condition. A 5-day average is the most common. Rest days are essential for learning and recovery.

Who is your vet?

In case of emergency can you haul my horse to the vet?

Yes! I always have a trailer hooked up and ready to transport horses quickly to ensure they receive the necessary care as soon as possible.

Can I provide my horses grain and supplements?

Yes, absolutely! I provide a full forage diet, but I’m happy to accommodate your horse’s specific dietary needs. If you bring their grain and supplements, I’ll ensure they receive them. If I supply them, there will be an additional charge.

Do you offer discounts for multiple horses in training?

Yes! If you have more than two horses in training at the same time, I offer a $100 discount per horse after the second one.

How can I get help with my horse after I have picked them up from training?

You can schedule a lesson with me anytime I have availability, and I’ll gladly help you with anything you need.
